Scally’s Lube & Go is seeking an experienced Lube and Tire Technician to join our established automotive service team. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in performing routine maintenance and tire services efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.
We are a full-service automotive and tire repair facility serving the Dunnellon community since 1988.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance services.
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report findings.
- Check and top off fluids (engine oil, coolant, transmission, brake fluid, etc.).
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and batteries.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
- Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Complete other delegated tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of lube/tire or automotive maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience operating tire mounting and balancing equipment.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
